New Service - DC Socket Repair:
We have recently invested in a state of the art soldering station that is capable of safely repairing all laptop DC Power socket - jack problems; previously this repair carried a very high risk of causing irreversable damage to some of the other components located on the main motherboard. Prior to attaining this new equipment the alternative was either replacing the motherboard, at great cost or simply discarding the laptop and who can afford to do that!

So if your Laptop won't power up or you have to wriggle the AC power Lead to get a good contact then give us a call to discuss further what is now a relatevely cheap alternative; most repairs are achievable for just £45.00 - £60.00 (standard labour rate, plus the cost of the new DC Socket).

Old Laptop chargers wanted?

if you have recently discarded an old laptop and still have the power-charger we would be more than gratefull if you would consider donating it.. Each week we have laptops arrive for repair minus power leads. This obviously delays the start of our diagnostic proceedures, so therefore I am trying to build up a good selection that can be used in the workshop for this purpose..
